YouTube Music from YouTube (Google) first came to light when the site lanuched its premuum subscription service, called YouTube Red, in October.
The app in now only launching in the US, so the UK won't get a looking just yet, this new app lets users stream music albums and tracks with or without the music video. We assume this will be great for when users are only able to view low quality stuff.
YouTube will offer a limited free service for users, but you wil have to pay. The FREE service will allow users to watch videos and listen to track whilst online (connected to the Internet).
For users who pay will be paying per-month for £6.56 ($9.99), they will be getting no ads, just like Spotify, listening offline and the ablilty to play music in the backgroud whilst using other apps and when the phone/device is locked.
