Ever sent a cringe text to your boss? Don't worry - you can delete it!
There's no need to panic anymore, according to a WhatsApp support news post, it seems you can delete that message.
This applies to one-to-one chats and group ones. There is a slight catch, though: you only have 7 minutes to delete it! And, the people on the other end need to have the latest version of WhatsApp.
The feature has been tested throughout the year, and will be pushed out to users during the next few weeks.
How do you delete that message?
Tap and hold on the message you want to delete,
Select the "Delete" option from the menu,
Now, tap "Delete for Everyone", and from both ends, the message has been deleted.
Even when the message has been deleted, those in the chat will see a box that says "This message was deleted".
