Twitter's Night Mode feature is now available on its website

You may have seen Night Mode on the Twitter apps for iOS and Android in the settings area and in the tab in the left hand side of the app.

It's been available on the apps for sometime now, and is great for when viewing Twitter in the dark, and not hurting your eyes as much as the white background and setting does.

A few things stay the same, such as the colour scheme (in the photo above, you can see our scheme is green). The colours of your profile picture and cover photo also remain the same.

Night Mode doesn't just work on your profile, it works right across Twitter's website. Give it a go for yourself. There is, however, a downside to this feature: you have to be logged into your account for it to work. When you log out, everything all turns back to normal.

Something else (and this is a positive), we noticed is that, if you selected Might Mode when on the website, the app will remember your choice, and stay in Night Mode on your mobile or tablet! Of course, you can turn it off in the app at anytime.

To enable it, all you have to do is click your profile picture in the top right hand corner, next to the "Tweet" button. Then, select "Night Mode", which is the second to last option on the list.
