The MacBook Pro gets better as Apple upgrade them once more

Apple have updated the MacBook Pro for 2018, and the specs are better than before

Laptops are being upgraded all the time, and this time, it's the turn of one of Apple's best selling products, the MacBook Pro.

First up, lets talk about those all important processors. The 15 inch and 13 inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, now have the latest 8th gen Intel Core i5, i7 and i9 processors. The 13 inch model now has quad-core versions of the i5 and i7 processors. Apple claims they'll be 70% faster than the previous ones! Great, right?

We can't get enough of RAM so, Apple have doubled the amount of it on that bigger Pro to 32GB!

You need a powerful chip to take care of the Touch Bar and fast fingerprint scanning so Apple have fitted the same T2 chip from its crazy fast and stunning iMac Pro. This means that instead of pressing the Siri button located on the right hand side of the Touch Bar, you can use the wake word "Hey Siri", just like you can on iPhone and iPad.

Other elements and parts of the Mac remain the same: the four Thunderbolt 3 & USB-C ports, battery life and screen resolution.

There is one other bonus, thanks to the upgrade: they're fitted with Apple 3rd gen butterfly switch keyboard, and it should be quieter than before.

You'll have noticed that we haven't mentioned the Pro without the Touch Bar, and that is because it has not been touched and stays as it is (for now, anyway).
