Hat-trick for Calvin Harris & Sam Smith as they stay at number one on the Big Top 40 Chart

Once again, Promises stays at pole position on the Official Vodafone Bog Top 40 Chart

The Baseman took the helm of the UK's biggest chart show this evening, as normal hosts Marvin and Kat weren't there.

Those who tuned into the show last week and who read our post last week, would know that music producer Calvin Harris and Sam Smith's latest tune 'Promises' was at the top of the chat for a second week. Looking on social media, it seemed that super-fans wanted it to remain for a third week this week, whereas others wanted Jess Glynne's All I Am, or former number one Benny Blanco with Eastside, to take Sam's and Calvin's place.

Sadly, though, it wasn't meant to be. 'Promises' by Calvin Harris and Sam Smith still remains in pole position on the Official Vodafone Big Top 40 Chart!

Can they make it an entire month at number one? Find out with us right here, next week.
