The new, refreshed MacBook Air is here

The new MacBook Air from Apple is here and you can buy it now

The long awaited refresh of Apple MacBook Air has arrived and it was announced, at Apple's second Special Event of the year, in October this year.

Its been a while since a new MacBook Air model has been released. The iMac, MacBook and MacBook Pro and even iPhone and iPad have had many newer models and have been refreshed much more than the Air has.

The great news is, the MacBook Air has been completely refreshed and updated for 2018. And, you can buy it now!

It features bright and vibrant colours with razor sharp text, Touch ID (which is located in the top right hand side of the keyboard). Performance wise, the 2018 MacBook Air features the eight generation Intel Core i5 processor. You'll be able to use the Air for a long time before finding a power source to charge it up again. Apple claim you'll get up to 13 hours of iTunes playback and up to 12 hours for general use.

Carry this thing around with you all day without putting your bag down: the brand new MacBook Air is very light indeed coming in at 1.25kg. It's also very thin, too, at 15.6mm.

The Air has a screen size of 13 inches, meaning it;ll fit perfectly in your bag. You've also got thee colour choices too: Space Grey, Gold and Silver - just like the new MacBook Pro.

The price tag for this small and great looking piece of kit starts at £1,199.00. Apple are still selling the ever-growing older MacBook Air and the price has been slashed. You can pick it up for the respectful price of £949.00

Ports wise on the new MacBook Air, you'll be getting: two Thunderbolt 3 (USB C) ports and a headphone jack. If you're after more, the older MacBook Air may be right for you, as it has many more ports.

We'll be bringing you more news on the all new 2018 MacBook Air soon.
