Vodafone Big Top 40 Chart hosts Marvin Humes & Kat Shoob to leave

Mavin Humes and Kat Shoob currently present the hit chart show

Radio DJ Mavin Humes joined The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 Chart Show in 2014, replacing presenter Rich Clarke and co-host Kat Shoob has been with the show ever since it started, almost a decade ago.

Both Mavin Humes and Kat Shoob are at the well-known radio and entertainment brand: Global, who created the chart show.

Both hosts Marvin Humes and Kat Shoob are stepping down from The UK's biggest chart show: The Official Vodafone Big Top 40.

The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 Chart Shows aires every Sunday from 4-7pm across Global owned stations, such as Heart and Capital FM and it counts down the 40 biggest songs in the chart right now. Data is collected from the iTunes chart, downloads and Apple Music.

The weekend show, as well as being broadcast live from Global's London studios, also airs on over 140 radio stations. This will, however, be changing at the beginning of 2019 as Bauer radio groups and others, will stop broadcasting the show.

Mavin Humes can still be heard on your radio every weeknight Monday - Thursday from 10pm - host The Capital Late Show.

Kat Shoob currently has her own show on Heart 10pm - 1am - but she will be stepping down from his very soon. Global spokesperson has told website Radio Today that she still remains with Global and will be "popping up" from time to time.
