Will Manning confirmed as new host of The Official Big Top 40

Manning replaces Marvin Humes and Kat Shoob

You'll remember us bringing you the news that the current hosts, Marvin Humes and Kat Shoob, will be leaving The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 chart show.

Radio DJ Mavin Humes joined The Official Vodafone Big Top 40 Chart Show in 2014, replacing presenter Rich Clarke and co-host Kat Shoob has been with the show ever since it started, almost a decade ago.

Both Mavin Humes and Kat Shoob are at the well-known radio and entertainment brand: Global, who created the chart show.

Global have announced that Will Manning will be the brand new host of The Official Big Top 40.

Will Manning currently hosts the Drivetime show on Capital London, from 4 - 7pm, every weekday, Monday - Friday. He also hosts a weekend show on Saturday, at the same time slot.

Mavin Humes can still be heard on your radio every weeknight Monday - Thursday from 10pm - host The Capital Late Show.

Kat Shoob currently has her own show on Heart 10pm - 1am - but she will be stepping down from his very soon. Global spokesperson has told website Radio Today that she still remains with Global and will be "popping up" from time to time.

The popular chart show will be relaunching for 2019 and can be heard exclusively on Heart and Capital FM.

Will can be heard on The Official Top 40 chart show from Sunday 6 January 2019.

Marvin Humes and Kat Shoob are still hosting the show this weekend (Sunday 30 December 2018).
