Tinder is down meaning users cannot swipe to find a perfect match

Tinder's still down meaning no one can swipe left or right

Users of the dating app, Tinder, have reported throughout the day that they're unable to log in or send messages, meaning no one can swipe to right their perfect match.

When users attempt to log into the app, or navigate, error messages and codes show. Many are seeing "something went wrong" and / or "error 5000".

Many people are taking to Twitter to complain, using the hashtag #tinderdown. It seems that Tinder's official Twitter account - @Tinder - aren't tweeting support advice about the issue.

Tinder does not run or have a status page, like some other companies, but we hope they are aware of the issue so people can get back to matchmaking. The website Down Detector are reporting problems with the dating site and app.

It's listing the most reported issues at the moment:

- Sending or receiving messages (37%)

- Server connection (32%)

- Log-in (30%)

We will keep monitoring this issue and let you know when Tinder becomes operational again.
