Coronavirus: Twitter to allow its staff to work from home 'forever'

Social media giant Twitter has announced staff can work from home 'forever'

Yesterday on Twitter's own blog, they announced in a post that staff can work from home 'forever'.

In the blog post, Twitter say "f our employees are in a role and situation that enables them to work from home and they want to continue to do so forever, we will make that happen."

This isn't mandatory though, Twitter's staff can return to the offices, when it's safe to do so, of course and 'our offices will be their warm and welcoming selves'.

Social media network Facebook also announced not that long ago that its staff members can continue to work from home until the end of the year, as well as search engine and phone maker, Google.

Twitter were 'one of the first companies to go to a work from home model' when the coronavirus pandemic started in March and they don't 'anticipate' to re-open their offices anytime soon.
