Avicii's music still lives on
A year has gone since Avicii's family sadly announced his death and his music is still living on, as his latest single 'SOS' is out now and can be streamed and downloaded on the various music services out there.
'SOS', by Avicii, features Aloe Blacc, and has been released a year after the death of Avicii, who's real name is Tim Bergling.
Avicii was a fantastic Swedish DJ and producer and is known for various hits, including: 'Wake Me Up', 'The Nights', 'Waiting For Love' and 'Levels', just to name a few. There are too many to mention.
All proceeds from those who buy the single and the upcoming album will be passed onto a charity that Tim's family setup after his death, named Tim Bergling Foundation. The charity works to help suicide and mental illnesses.
'SOS' is to be taken from a new album which is due for release on Thursday 6th June 2019. The new album's name is simply 'Tim', and is a collection of the tracks that Avicii had been working hard on before his death. The tracks have never been released to the public.
Avicii's social media accounts have only just been re-activated and, on Twitter and Instagram, a photo of Tim laughing and having fun in a studio environment has been posted, with a message from Tim which reads:
"Spread positivity through my music, in message and enjoy success but not materialistic success”
