Glasgow loose out to Liverpool to host the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023

Liverpool will be hosting the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023 on behalf of Ukraine, who won the song contest this year. The United Kingdom took second place with singer Sam Ryder's 'Space Man'.

Ukraine are unable to host the song contest due to the ongoing war.

This will be the first Eurovision Song Contest held in the United Kingdom for 25 years, which will take place on 13th May 2023 at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

Music acts The Beatles, Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Atomic Kitten and The Wombats, just to name a few, were all formed in Liverpool so it is a city well versed in music history.

We cannot wait to see what next year's Eurovision brings. It could mean the number one spot for the United Kingdom of one of the top five countries from this year.
