The Facebook App now lets you stream live video!
This new feature is being rolled out to all Facebook users all over the world. It works on Facebook's mobile application - the Facebook app.
It does seem to be a rival to Periscope (which was lanched and developed by Twitter), it's similar in that users can livestream, just as they would be able to using the Facebook one.
Recorded and live videos from public figures you follow and friends will appear in your Facebook news feed.
When you have finished broadcasting from your device, your video stream is posted to your timeline, this way all your friends will be able to see it.
While you are watching a live video, you can tap the subscribe button, when doing this, you'll get an alart each time the person does a live broacast.
