Pre-order the new iPhone XR tomorrow
Pre-order the brand new iPhone XR tomorrow
The wait is (almost) over. You can pre-order the brand new iPhone XR tomorrow (Friday 19 October 2018). However, you'll have to wait until Friday 26 October 2018 to actually get your hands on it.
Think of the iPhone XR as the 'budget' version of this premium brand. Its big brothers - the iPhone XS and iPhone XS - are already on sale and were revealed at the Apple Special Event back in September this year.
You'll remember a former iPhone lineup from a few years ago: the iPhone 5, iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C. The iPhone 5S was the premium model, which was the birth of Apple's Touch ID and the iPhone 5C: the more budget friendly, cheaper modal for those who still wanted to carry around the Apple logo and brand.
The iPhone XR features the all new Liquid Retina display - which all call "the most advanced LCD in the industry". The same powerful A12 Bionic chip in the iPhone XS and XS Max. It also features tap to wake and this is standard on the iPhone XS and XS Max, too.
Its screen is also a true edge-to-edge display - just like the original (1st gen) iPhone X, iPhone XS and XS Max.
For those who are true fans of your face being your password; you'll love this: the iPhone XR has Face ID too. You'll be able to unlock your phone, make payments and log into apps without lifting a finger. A glance at your phone has never been so simple.
Cameras in smartphones are getting better with every release and the iPhone XR lives up to this. It uses a single lens to keep people in the foreground and at the focus of the photo and the background blurs. Take super high-quality and sharp shots with Apple Portrait Mode.
The rear camera is 12 mega-pixels and videos can be shot in 4K, thanks to the A12 Bionic chip. 1080p video is supported up to 60 frames per second.
First, you have to choose for finish. Pick from: White, Black, Blue, Yellow, Coral and (PRODUCT)RED
Here's what you'll get in the box: your iPhone XR, EarPods with Lightning Connector, Lightning to USB Cable and a 5W USB Power Adapter.
Pricing in the UK starts from £749
For the 64 GB model, it'll cost you £749. The 128 GB model will cost £799 and lastly, the 256 GB model will cost £899.
