Apple's new Mac Pro is coming very soon - here's all you need to know
It'll be arriving 'this fall' (we always love that). Apple's all-new and improved 2019 Mac Pro was announced at its WWDC a few days ago. Its had a complete re-design and features some insane specs, all of which you can find out more, below.
Apple have not yet published a date for when the new 2019 Mac Pro will be released. All we know is that it'll be released sometime in the Autumn. There are, however, suggestions that it could be coming as soon as September.
There are many different configurations available for the new Mac Pro and with that comes many different price tags.
Some pricing is yet to be confirmed, and we're taking the pricing information from Apple's US website as the UK website still shows the old Mac Pro, instead of the new one.
Mac Pro will set you back $5,999 for the 8-core Intel Xeon 3.5GHz model It'll have 32GB RAM, 256GB SSD & Radeon Pro 580X graphics card.
You'll have notice that the Mac Pro looks 100% different design wise than the current model that's on offer. Instead of keeping the round design on the side, top and bottom, it looks like a cheese-grater that you'll find in the kitchen. If you've been a follower of the Mac Pro on the internet, we're sure you'll have seen countless memes. We're sure more will come in time, too.
Oh and er, the Mac Pro has wheels, too. This isn't a joke. They don't come in the box and we will be sold separately but it'll mean you can wheel it around your home or office hassle-free without having to lift it. at the time of writing, there is no information with regards to how much the wheels will cost.
Alongside the release of the Mac Pro 2019 model was a new high spec monitor released named: Apple Pro Display XDR, the world’s best pro display. We'll have more on this soon.
